How can we help?
Getting started
Which breathing exercise should I start with?
Try Cappy Calm or Calm 4-6 for everyday stress, Box Breathing when you need focus, and 4-7-8 Relax or Sleep 4-7-12 before bed. Each exercise page explains its benefits, when to use it and how to do it.
How long should a session be?
Even one minute helps. Most exercises let you choose between 1 and 10 minutes. Sessions shorter than 30 seconds are not saved to your history.
How do I pause or end a session?
Tap Pause at any time, or tap × in the top-left corner to finish. Cappy will gently settle and fly back to the pond; if you breathed for at least 30 seconds, the session is saved.
Sound, haptics & reminders
I can’t hear any sounds.
Make sure Sound is on in Settings and that your device volume is up. During a session you can also adjust the Breath and Ambient sliders. CapyBreath plays alongside your own music, so check that other audio is not too loud.
How do I turn vibrations on or off?
Go to Settings → Haptic, or tap the phone icon at the top of a breathing session. Vibrations pulse gently while you inhale and exhale, and stay still while you hold.
How do I set up or change reminders?
Open Settings → Notifications, turn on the daily reminder and select one or more times — or tap Add time for a custom one. If reminders don’t arrive, check that notifications for CapyBreath are allowed in iOS Settings → Notifications.
Your data
Do I need an account? Is my data backed up?
No account is needed. Your sessions and settings are stored only on your iPhone and are included in your device or iCloud backup if you use one. We don’t keep a copy on any server. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I delete my data?
Deleting the app from your device permanently removes all CapyBreath data. Because nothing is stored on our side, there is nothing else to delete.
Safety
Is breathwork safe for everyone?
Gentle breathing is safe for most people, but some exercises include breath holds. If you feel dizzy, light-headed or uncomfortable, stop and breathe normally. If you are pregnant or have a heart, lung or other medical condition, talk to a healthcare professional first. CapyBreath is a wellness app, not a medical device.
